*Note this month we are moving upstairs one floor to the Colab Open Studio. AUT City Campus. Level 11, WG Sir Paul Reeves Building.

This month we have a bit of an audio theme where sound is an important element to all of our guests work.

If you have something you’d like to bring or share please let me know:

Meetup guests:

Clinton will share what he gets up to at Colab and his artwork that investigates affects that combinations of sonic and visual information can have on an audience.  He has an interest in constructing immersive experiences through the use of sound, colour and scale of installation incorporating video projection, television monitors and custom-made audio and video hardware.

Tim will talk to us about what he gets up to as a UI designer at the world leader in DJ performance technology based in Auckland. If we are lucky we will get a demo of the hardware and software they make.

PAT KRAUS – Musical Electronics Library +

Pat Kraus is a local musician who will share with us a bit about what he and his collaborators have been learning about making their own instruments for the Musical Electronics Library and give us a demo of some of the final products.

The Creative Technologists Community provides an opportunity to share and develop skills and knowledge in a collaborative environment.

They happen on the last Wednesday of every month. 6 – 8pm.
