Dr Frances Joseph is an associate professor and the Director of Colab. She is also Co-Director of the Textiles and Design Lab and Chair of the Labs Network in the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies.
Dr. Stefan Marks is a researcher and lecturer at Colab. He teaches in game programming, simulated and virtual environments.
James Charlton is an artist and a Senior Lecturer at Colab. He engages a range of physical, digital and performative approaches to explore the nature of the artefact and the assumptions of the audience.
Dr Clinton Watkins is an artist and lecturer at Colab working in areas of experimental time-based media and installation.
Dr. Sangeeta Karmokar is a researcher and Senior lecturer at Colab. She is interested in fostering creative and critical thinking and providing design-thinking opportunities in building innovative and digital business models.

Ben Kenobi has a background in architecture and game design, and teaches in the Bachelor and Masters of Creative Technologies programmes at Colab.
Laurent Antonczak is a multicultural entrepreneur specialising in digital strategies and emerging technologies.
Dr. Pete Rive is a researcher and lecturer at Colab. He is a founding member of the industry advisory board to Colab and has served as Chairman of that Board.
Sharon Mazer is Associate Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at Auckland University of Technology
Dr Maggie Buxton is a programme developer, educator, consultant and creative producer. Her expertise is in social innovation, mixed reality production, systemic consulting, place-based practice and transdisciplinary research.

Kim Newall is the technician and a core member of the Colab team. He holds a Masters degree in Creative Technologies from AUT.
Harry is Colab’s Public Liaison Coordinator, looking after events, initiatives and online communications.
Theresa is Colab’s Content Developer and Editor, managing The Journal of Creative Technologies, and assisting with Colab’s online communications.
Peter Heslop is the manager of AUT’s Textile and Design Lab.
